The actress who was most recently a part of "Still Alice," the film that gave Julianne Moore her first Academy Award earlier this year, is now launching her own footwear line, and Kate Bosworth's shoes are well worth being on the feet of the top reporter in The Daily Planet!

While Bosworth has been mostly off the radar for the past few years as she's been making a number of more low-key films, the "Superman Returns" actress has been focusing most of her attention on an entirely new business venture, as she releases the new Kate Bosworth shoes collection available at Nordstrom stores around the country!

According to The Huffington Post, Kate Bosworth's shoes come from a collaboration with Matisse, in a line that includes just about every type of shoe you can imagine, from summery boots to platform lace-up sandals and pointy pumps, fit for every season!

InStyle UK reports that, while the Kate Bosworth shoes are currently only available in the United States, many people on the other side of the pond (particularly Britain), including English supermodel and "Mad Max: Fury Road" actress Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, who recently posted a photo of her new pair of booths designed by the "21 Blackjack" actress, completely besotted by them!

In a recent interview with Harper's Bazaar, the 32 year-old actress spoke at length about the new Kate Bosworth shoes line, talking about the process of meeting Matisse through a mutual friend and working together.

"I have always been attracted to fashion that is transitional wear, meaning, designs that carry a woman from season to season, from day to night," she told the magazine. That was a significant part of the thought process for this collection. I wanted to think about footwear that is directional and also comfortable. I like my shoes to have a bit of personality..."
