Janet Jackson Twitter: ‘Rhythm Nation’ Michael Jackson’s Sister Announces New Album And Tour – After MISSING Internet Hoax!

It's been so long since Michael Jackson's sister released an album with new material that her famous brother was actually still alive, as "Discipline" came out in 2008 and MJ passed away in June 2009 - but it seems like Janet Jackson's Twitter announcement sees will her highly awaited return!

A couple of weeks back, Food World News reported on the Internet hoax that saw fans of the singer from the prestigious music family creating a campaign claiming the 49 year-old was "lost" and had to be found in the near future, something she herself said had been "sweet" through Janet Jackson's Twitter.

In fact, the viral lost ads were part of a larger campaign to get the singer back into the industry, as she has been mostly out of the spotlight since her 2012 marriage to Qatari billionaire Wissam Al Mana; in 2013, she claimed she was working on a new album but her fans never heard of the project again, as she grew more secluded - but, judging by Janet Jackson's Twitter, no more of that!

According to CNN, though, Janet Jackson's Twitter will finally announced the return of the beloved pop diva: the "That's The Way It Goes" star recently took to the social media site to talk to fans about her upcoming projects.

E! Online reports that Janet Jackson's Twitter announcement came over the past weekend, as the singer turned 49 on May 16 and she took to Vimeo to announce her latest projects.

"I promised you'd hear it from my lips, and now you will," Jackson said in a voiceover video. "This year, new music, new world tour, a new movement. I've been listening. Let's keep the conversation going."

Forbes claims that this is more confusing than illuminating, as the youngest Jackson failed to specify dates or any sort of new styles ahead for the projects - and her latest dance album, "Discipline," was a commercial disappointment.

In any case, we'll keep updated on Janet Jackson's Twitter to know more about her return to music!
