Raven-Symone The View: ‘That’s So Raven’ Star SLAMMED Over Disliking Harriet Tubman $20 Bill [VIDEO]

The "Cosby Show" alum is certainly no stranger to controversy, as the outspoken star has gotten into trouble more than a few times after making comments that seemed out of place; now, as Raven-Symone's "The View" stint continues, the 29 year-old actress and singer's name goes viral once more over her divisive opinions.

In the past, Raven-Symone's "The View" opinions had been bashed on social media, after she practically confirmed that Michelle Obama looked like an "ape" after Univision host Rodner Figueroa said the First Lady looked like part of the cast of "Planet of the Apes."

Still, long before Raven-Symone's "The View" guest hosting, the actress had spoken to Oprah Winfrey about her sexuality, stating she was in a long-term relationship with a woman although she didn't consider herself "gay" or even "African-American," as she didn't approve of labels - something that got her in the middle of a lot of controversy at the time from many in social media.

Now, according to National Review, Raven-Symone's "The View" appearance makes headlines again, as the youngest "Cosby Show" alum discussed the unofficial choice of Harriet Tubman as the face of a new wave of $20 bills, proposing Rosa Parks instead - which earned her tons of verbal abuse on Twitter afterwards.

CBS News reports that Tubman, a 19th century American abolitionist, was recently chosen in an online poll by the Woman on 20s group as a potential new face for the bill, as they're attempting to push a woman in the face of one of them, replacing President Andrew Jackson - but Raven-Symone's "The View" hosting shows she's not too pleased with the choice.

"I would've chosen someone who is closer to the progression that we're doing now, and I know you have to understand history so you don't repeat it, but that doesn't really happen in our world because we still repeat history of hating other cultures over and over again," said the actress and singer, according to Hollywood Life. "I would've chosen a different one, no offense."
