Now that the days are getting hotter and the perfect time for walking around town with a Frappuccino approaches, the Seattle-based coffee chain is launching a new Frappuccino that brings the delicious winter treat of S'mores to the hot weather - and there's a Starbucks cookie straw to accompany it!
In the past few months, Starbucks has had its fair share of mishaps when it comes to advertising, including the controversial and ill-fated "Race Together" campaign; however, the new Starbucks cookie straw brings the biggest coffee chain in the world right back at home, creating interesting products for the world to be familiar with and hopefully turn into favorites.
According to Refinery29, the new S'mores Frappuccino is being released this Tuesday, but the new addition of the Starbucks cookie straw to it adds one more layer of "chocolaty decadence" in a drink that was already getting sugar addicts jumping for joy.
The Telegraph reports that, unfortunately, the Starbucks cookie straw will only be available for those trying out the new drink in the United States and Canada, as other franchises will be left out of the delicious treat, even if they get the S'mores Frap.
The new limited-edition S'mores Frappuccino is getting launched in honor of the company's annual "Happy Hour" promo, KMBZ reports, and it'll include whipped cream infused with marshmallow, milk chocolate sauce, a graham cracker crumble and, of course, a blend of coffee, milk and ice.
In a move similar to the Starbucks cookie straw, the United Kingdom KFC brand announced earlier this year that they'd be launching an ecological effort: an edible coffee cup for their product made out of cookies that for some reason smell like freshly cut grass, wild flowers and even coconut sun cream.
Don't miss the delicious Starbucks cookie straw!
