Sofia Vergara Embryos- Colombian actress, Sofia Vergara is in a distressing legal battle with her former fiancée, Nick Loeb, after the latter filed a lawsuit in California Court to halt Vergara from destroying two cryopreserved female embryos formed through in vitro fertilization in November 2013.
Sofia Vergara Embryos were preserved six months before the former couple announced their separation. The detailed account of the lawsuit was reported by In Touch were the plaintiff and the defendant were hidden in pseudonyms John Doe and Jane Doe.
"John seeks to save from destruction two cryopreserved Female Embryos created using John's sperm and Jane's ova for the purposes of attempting to have children," the court documents say.
"However, before the Female Embryos could be implanted in a surrogate, the Parties ended their relationship," adding that Sofía "hoped for the Female Embryos to ultimately be destroyed" but "John does not desire for the Female Embryos to be destroyed."
The mounting allegations were faced and answered by Sofia Vergara's legal counsel, Fred Silberberg who stated to PEOPLE that Sofia Vergara Embryos will remain intact and frozen because her client never wanted to destroy it. He added Loeb claims are "uncredible" and "hold no merit."
When the former couple created Sofia Vergara Embryos, it was found that they signed a joint agreement that no independent action could take place concerning the frozen embryos unless parties agreed.
The court papers that were filed on August 2014 detailed that aside from the allegations thrown by Loeb about Sofia Vergara Embryos, the businessman claimed that he was physically and mentally tortured by Vergara.
In frequent instances, Loeb stated that Vergara had called him in humiliating words 'loser,' 'worthless' and more. She also punched him on his face twice and had kicked him and tossed a phone on his face.
Vergara, 42, is now in relationship with actor Joe Manganiello and is now engaged with the actor since December 2014. She divulged that she intends to have a baby with him through the same process if that is the only way that would make him super happy.
Vergara has one son, Manolo, now 23 from her first marriage. Since then she openly admits on her intent to have more children.

According to reports, Sofia Vergara only wants her 44-year-old friend and personal assistant, to be the surrogate for her and Loeb's child. She allegedly paid her $200,000 in gifts and mortgage payments.
