In the past few months, it seems like the fast food chain famous for its golden arches can't get anything right, after their sales numbers have broadly flopped and workers all over the world (and particularly in the US) have protested over their incredibly low wages - and the new McDonald's personality test seems to be a step further in the wrong direction.
Prior to the events of the McDonald's personality test, Food World News has vastly reported the issues surrounding the home of the Big Mac, from their numerous issues in the Japanese franchise to their numerous issues with sales - and even their attempts to bring back patrons through their "Pay With Lovin'" campaign, all-day breakfast and the return of season favorite Shamrock Shake.
Now, according to The Mirror, the chain has created a new McDonald's personality test to give everyone who's trying to get a job in their Australian franchise - and the questions are a little too personal for a job that could basically entail flipping burgers.
The Daily Mail reports that the McDonald's personality test requires applicants to "pass" a multiple-choice questionnaire online even before they leave their résumé at the restaurants' venues. Here's the twist, though: it seems it's fairly easy to fail at the aforementioned test.
When asked about the new McDonald's personality test, representatives for the company's Australian branch stated that the questionnaire was created to "help McDonald's understand the position in our team that suits you best."
Some of the very personal questions inside the test include whether the applicant would cheat on a test, how they'd deal with a noisy neighbor and what they're like at parties.
Of course, ever since news of the test came out, the Internet has created alternate versions to see whether the everyday user would be able to pass the questionnaire - while others like The Inquisitr basically ridicule the McDonald's personality test.
