The second to last episode of the first season of the "Breaking Bad" spin-off left Jimmy (Bob Odenkirk) back in square one after a terrible fight with his brother, Chuck (Michael McKean), so the "Better Call Saul" season 1 episode 10 might just get him on the way to becoming Walter White's lawyer famous for his total lack of any scruples.
As Food World News reported last week before the airing of the second to last episode, "Pimento" featured some important revelations for the cast, including a hilarious bit about pimento cheese featuring Mike (Jonathan Banks), as the "Better Call Saul" season 1 episode 10 delves deeper into how the characters got to where we saw them in "Breaking Bad."
In the last episode, it was revealed that Chuck had been the one who prevented Jimmy from getting a position as a lawyer in his law firm, and not Howard Hamlin (Patrick Fabian) as had been previously thought.
Also, the episode featured Mike's first job in Albuquerque as a bodyguard, giving two others in the business a lesson on how it's done.
Bob Odenkirk recently spoke to The Hollywood Reporter about the "Better Call Saul" season 1 episode 10, saying that for the first time since the show began earlier this year, fans will get to see Jimmy at work with a long speech dubbed as an "epic monologue" which proved fairly difficult to learn for the actor; however, he stated he'd kept it as accurate to the script as he possibly could.
Screen Fad reports that the name of the "Better Call Saul" season 1 episode 10 is "Marco," and there's already one man with that name in the "Breaking Bad" universe: Marco Salamanca, one of the two Cousins from the original show, who first appeared by trying to kill Walter White (Bryan Cranston) and ultimately shooting his brother-in-law Hank Schrader (Dean Norris).
The Cousins were two of the most iconic characters from the original Vince Gilligan show, and it's unknown whether they'll be making a return for the prequel in the "Better Call Saul" season 1 episode 10.
Catch the "Better Call Saul" season 1 episode 10 at 10p.m. this Monday on AMC.
