Mr. T Home Improvement Show, ‘I Pity The Tool,’ In The Works!

In case you've forgotten all about the guy who's been appearing in shows making fun of his character for the past three decades, now you'll remember all about pitying the fool with the funny new Mr. T home improvement show that the 80s star has just signed up to do.

Fans around the world probably didn't know they needed a Mr. T home improvement show until it was announced, but now the concept behind "I Pity the Tool" seems like the most logical thing in the world, as the "A-Team" star's set to start helping you fix whatever might be wrong in your home.

According to ABC News, the new Mr. T home improvement show will be airing on DIY, and it was announced by the network through a Twitter video last Thursday, where the "Rocky III" star spoke about "I Pity the Tool," a show where he'll be fixing things up all while making fun of the phrase that's made him famous since the 80s.

As The Daily Mail reports, Mr. T's home improvement show will be different from what fans are used to: in the series, the 63 year-old actor an wrestler (whose real name is Laurence Tureaud) will be using his famous muscles to good use: destroying places in serious need for renovation!

According to Hollywood Reporter, the new Mr. T home improvement show is just the latest series of its kind to hit the DIY network, as recently they've taken other once-popular celebrities to give them space in the format, as seemingly, after the boom on reality shows, this is the way to catch up with famous people.

Besides "I Pity the Tool," other celebrity home improvement shows in the network include "The Vanilla Ice Projet," as well as a show called "The Shatner Project" featuring the "Star Trek" actor William Shatner, plus "Daryl's Restoration Over-Hall" with Daryl Hall and "Rev Run's Renovation."

There are no official dates for the Mr. T home improvement show yet, but it's been reported that it'll begin airing sometime in 2015.
