Over the past few weeks, the series about geek culture, scientists and their partners has been paying tribute to Carol Anne Susi, the woman behind the voice of Mrs. Wolowitz, who gave the series some of its best moments - and now, the "Big Bang Theory" season 8 episode 18 shows the characters paying their last respects.
Of course, this won't be the only thing going on in the "Big Bang Theory" season 8 episode 18, as the study co-written by Leonard (Johnny Galecki) and Sheldon (Jim Parsons) is finally published, and it's about to cause some professional friction between them.
CarterMatt reports that the premise of the "Big Bang Theory" season 8 episode 18 is simple, as the entire cast (the above-mentioned ones plus Kaley Cuoco, Simon Helberg, Mayim Bialik, Melissa Rauch and Kunal Nayyar) will be coming together to say goodbye to Mrs. Wolowitz, a character that, while never seen, was definitely one of the biggest parts of the show's charm.
As Latin Post reports, another issue in the "Big Bang Theory" season 8 episode 18 will come after the paper Leonard and Sheldon wrote is featured in a scientific journal, but only Sheldon's name is published - something that makes Leonard seriously wonder whether it was an editor's mistake or Sheldon just wanted to take the credit all to himself.
According to TV Line, a few weeks adter "Big Bang Theory" season 8 episode 18 Matt Bennett, from the Nickelodeon show "Victorious," will be playing the younger brother of Howard Wolowitz, unexpectedly showing up at Howard's door in the episode "The Fortification Implementation," set to be released on April 9.
"Friction ensues when a magazine fails to mention Leonard in an article about the paper he co-wrote with Sheldon," reads CBS' official synopsis for "The Leftover Thermalization," which is the name for the "Big Bang Theory" season 8 episode 18. "Also, a blackout at Mrs. Wolowitz's home leads to a final family dinner in her honor."
