Slipknot Stabbing: Slipknot Brothers Hospitalized After Stabbing Each Other! This Is What Alcohol Can Do!

Slipknot stabbing made headlines after two members of the group wounded each other. But what's more shocking is that brothers, Mick Thomson and Andrew were the ones involved.

Slipknot stabbing happened following their altercationwhile under the influence of alcohol on the wee hours of Wednesday at Mick's home in Clive, Iowa.

Apparently, 41-year-old Mickael and his 35-year-old brother Andrew were rushed to Des Moines hospital in separate ambulances. Mickael sustained head injury after his brother Andrew stabbed him. Andrew on the other hand had also suffered non-life threatening wounds.

They are now both out-of-danger and still recuperating in the hospital, Blabber Mouth reports.

According to Iowa police officers who responded to the scene, the Slipknot stabbing took place around 4:25 a.m. The Andrew was hanging out at Mick Thomson's place when suddenly it came to a point of a heated argument. Police reported that both were intoxicated, TMZ reports.

After the Slipknot stabbing incident and the brothers were brought to the hospital, investigation on the case continues. There was no one arrested and both Mick Thomson and Andrew were released.

At the height of the Slipknot stabbing news, the band's frontman Corey Taylor took to Twitter some updates regarding Mick Thompson's condition.


Slipknot’s manager expressed his assurance that the performance of the band as a group will not be affected even after the Slipknot stabbing incident.

According to its Facebook page, Slipknot, the group was founded in 1995 at Des Moines, Iowa. Their metal genre albums are being released under the Roadrunner Records where their latest “.5: The Gray Chapter’ album has recently been out.

The heavy metal band was chosen as Grammy’s “Best Metal Performance” in 2006 for their song “Before I Forget.” They rose to fame after their debut album in 1999. Today, their group is composed of Corey Taylor, Mick and Andrew Thompson, Jim Root, Craig Jones, Sid Wilson, Shawn Crahan, and Chrsi Fehn.

The Slipknot stabbing incident won’t stop the band from performing. In fact, the heavy metal band has series of performances lined up until the end of the year.
