Walmart's New Ice Cream Sandwiches: Why It Does Not Melt in the Sun

Ice creams are supposed to melt if it is not kept chilled. But, Walmart proved that you can still enjoy ice creams even under the sun. According to Huffington Post, Walmart's new ice cream sandwiches do not melt even under the sun.

Christie Watson, a local mom, made the discovery. She noticed that the great value ice cream sandwich hasn't melted yet even if it was placed under the sun for almost 12 hours. She left the second ice cream sandwich out for overnight and got the same results.

Watson was surprised about the magical effect of Walmart's new ice cream sandwiches. She said that she thought that it is a bit weird and looked at the box and she found out that it does not even say that it is an artificial ice cream.

Due to the discovery of Cincinnati mom, a lot of people across the country also experimented too with various brands of ice creams.

Dan Collins from Sioux Falls in South Dakota was one of those individuals. Collins is a radio DJ and has proved that Walmart's ice cream sandwiches do not melt. He even posted it on YouTube.

Collins left the Great Value ice cream sandwich outside on the plate in a sunny weather with a scoop of the Blue Bunny vanilla ice cream. Within several minutes, Blue Bunny ice cream melted while Walmart's ice cream wasn't melting at all. Collins said that it is apparent that it is really going to melt in the whole way. His uploaded video got millions of views.

According to Newsday, Danit Marquardt, the spokesman of Walmart, explained that it is a real ice cream. The only reason why it does not melt is that it contains more cream. He also stated that ice cream melts depending on its ingredients like cream. Ice creams that have more creams will melt at slower rates like the Walmart's ice cream sandwich.
