Ever since its 2013 premiere, "Frozen" has turned into one of the most successful animated films in recent times, in terms of both box office and critical acclaim (as it won every award there was for its category last year, including the Best Animated Feature Film Oscar), and now the "Frozen Fever" 2015 trailer brings back the beloved characters!
The original film, a retelling of the classic Hans Christian Anderson tale "The Snow Queen," followed the adventures of two sisters in the fictional Nordic kingdom of Arendelle; now, after the action of the movie occurred, the "Frozen Fever" 2015 trailer shows snow man Olaf and Queen Elsa preparing a birthday party for Anna.
According to Yahoo! News, the "Frozen Fever" 2015 trailer was first shown exclusively on "Good Morning America" last Wednesday, as a preview of the short film that's set to be released alongside the long-awaited live action remake of the Disney classic "Cinderella."
According to KSat's report of the "Frozen Fever" 2015 trailer, the entire short film will be 8 minutes long, and it'll reunite the creative team behind the 2013 hit, including its directors, Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee.
As Hollywood Life reports, other people who will be joining the new project will be songwriting team (and adorable married couple) Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez, who will be providing a new song for the short film after winning an Oscar in 2014 for the song "Let it Go," originally sung by Idina Menzel in the film and then the responsible party of martyrizing grown-ups everywhere with millions and millions of covers on YouTube and everywhere else.
While the "Frozen Fever" 2015 trailer only shows a bit of what's ahead, audiences can expect that the return of the beloved characters (voiced by the original actors: Idina Menzel, Kristen Bell, Jonathan Groff and Josh Gad) will bring smiles to everyone's faces once more.
