Saban and Lionsgate teamed up for the upcoming Power Rangers reboot in 2016. The Hunger Games hit filmmaker Lionsgate is hoping to release a new franchise in summer of 2016 by teaming up with Saban, the creator of the blockbuster movie Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.

The movie franchise has started in 1993 and yearly, the viewers are expecting for a new season, new cast, and new theme of Power Rangers. The partnership of the two filmmakers aims to give the audience another stunning sci-fi fantasy story featuring the brightly colored child-friendly characters. The Power Rangers reboot is highly anticipated knowing Zack Stentz and Ashley Miller are penning the script already. The duo has been known for their remarkable work on movies "First Class" and "Thor" and currently working on the Starship Troopers reboot.
On July 22, 2016, the movie industry will meet again another batch of teenagers who possess martial arts skills and superpowers ready to defend the universe against the villains.
