After disappointing some car fans with the new TV commercial showing no cars, Cadillac has finally released a follow-up ad that provides everyone a brief glimpse at the upcoming Cadillac CT6, which is a full-size sedan. The latest CT6 is schedule to debut at the 2015 New York Auto Show, which will be held in April. However, many were surprised when it was aired during the Oscars.
Cadillac CT6 is a big sedan, which will provide similar amenities and space to the smallest wheelbase versions of the vehicles like Audi A8 and the BMW 7-Series. Yet, CT6 is not the oft-rumored flagship of Cadillac. There will still be one or two models positioned that will be out in the market soon.
However, this does not mean that CT6 will lack pizazz as the vehicle in the ad has great looks and impressive proportions, which made it as elegant as other rivals. The new Cadillac CT6 will be brimming with the advanced technology. Some of these are video streaming rearview mirror and mixed-material construction.
Motor Authority reported that the new Omega platform for big rear wheel drive cars of General Motors Company will underpin the car. The platform will guarantee that CT6 will be the most fuel-efficient and lightest cars in its class. It is also compatible with the plug-in hybrid tech. Cadillac CT6 will also provide V-8 and V-6 powerplants and all-wheel drive.
Cadillac CT6 pre-production is being assembled at the Detroit-Hamtramck plant of GM in Michigan wherein the carmaker upgraded at a cost of $300M recently to handle the newest CT6 and some models that would have several of its technology. The very first CT6 sedans will arrive in showrooms soon along with the 2016 models.

Since then, the manufacturers have struggled to regain lost ground, even if it slipped in the US market by about five percent last year.
