Since last Sunday's Oscars, the picture of Scarlett Johansson's red carpet encounter with John Travolta has gone viral, as the "Pulp Fiction" actor seemed to be getting a little too close to the blonde star and recent mom, then performing a similar stunt with Idina Menzel - but is there something really wrong with John Travolta?
Among the latest Scarlett Johansson red carpet pictures from the Academy Awards, people were shocked to see that John Travolta, who became infamous during last year's ceremony by mispronouncing the name of Idina Menzel as Adele Dazeem, when she was about to perform the Oscar-winning song "Let it Go" from the Disney animated musical "Frozen."
According to The Daily Mail, Scarlett Johansson's red carpet encounter with John Travolta became one of the highlights of the Oscar night, when the "Grease" actor came up to her from behind as she was posing for the cameras, planting a big kiss on her cheek and making her look insanely uncomfortable.
As E! Online reports, the awkward Scarlett Johansson red carpet moment consisted of the 61 year-old "Saturday Night Fever" star grabbing the blonde Oscar nominee from the back, touching her tummy only a few months after she gave birth to her first daughter (though you wouldn't tell from the way her green dress fitted her) - but it seems ScarJo wasn't really feeling the whole thing, and she even gave Travolta a side-eye!
As The Guardian reports, though, the awkward-looking Scarlett Johansson red carpet moment wasn't the only John Travolta meme of the night, as the "Hairspray" actor seemed to amaze for a couple more infamous things: onstage, as he presented with Idina Menzel and apologized once again for blubbering her name last year, he approached a little too much to the "Rent" actress' face, completely invading her personal space.
Also, during a shot to the audience, Travolta, sitting behind nominee Benedict Cumberbatch, seemed to be looking at him suspiciously, creating yet another meme.
In any case, besides that awkward moment, Scarlett Johansson's red carpet appearance did little less than wow everyone around - and it's also important to note that she actually made a movie with Travolta back in 2004, "A Love Song for Bobby Long," and all their pictures together from that time show them being cozy around each other - and there were a couple from last Sunday that showed the "Don Jon" actress hugging him affectionately.
