Lady Gaga ‘The Sound Of Music’ Show At 2015 Oscars Loved By Everyone … Except Shonda Rhimes? [VIDEO]

While Lady Gaga's "The Sound of Music" homage got a standing ovation at the 2015 Oscars and even made original cast member and star Julie Andrews almost reach tears, it seems that Shonda Rhimes, the woman behind television hits like "Grey's Anatomy," "Scandal" and "How to Get Away with Murder," was way less than pleased.

Hollywood Life reports that a lot of film and television stars took to social networks last Sunday to praise Lady Gaga's "The Sound of Music" homage at the latest Oscars, including people Tiffani Thiessen, "Modern Family" star Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Larry King, Ellen DeGeneres and even Paris Hilton - but the creator of Shondaland failed to see the big whoop.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Lady Gaga's "The Sound of Music" performance had been universally praised up to the point when Rhimes started talking, as she took to Twitter to shout out a cold response to the show.

"That was not okay. I mean, Idina is there," Rhimes tweeted right after Lady Gaga's "The Sound of Music" performance, referring to the fact that Idina Menzel, the woman who originally sang last year's Best Song winner "Let it Go," had just presented an award alongside John Travolta. "She is right there. RIGHT THERE. And oh dear God, Julie had to hear that. #Oscars2015

However, outlets around the world begged to differ, including Rolling Stone Magazine, which called Gaga's choice of songs (a medley between "The Sound of Music," "My Favorite Things," "Edelweiss" and "Climb Ev'ry Mountain") a "gorgeous medley."

The Guardian reports that Lady Gaga's "The Sound of Music" homage made "the Hollywood hills" alive with the sound of her voice, as the controversial singer even correctly pronounced Julie Andrews' accent as she was joined by a string section during the show.

Don't miss out the breathtaking Lady Gaga "The Sound of Music" performance from the 87th Academy Awards!
