Following a strain of successful movies like the Oscar Best Picture winner "Crash" and his Academy Award nominated role in "Hustle & Flow," it seems like Terrence Howard has faded a little into oblivion - but now, he has told the police that Terrence Howard's ex, Michelle Ghent, has been making death threats against him.
When he supported Chris Brown after the Rihanna domestic abuse case, it came out that Howard had a history of assault against his partners, including a couple of Terrence Howard's exes - in fact, Michelle Ghent herself has issued two restraining orders against the actor in the past, after appearing in court with a black eye saying it had been Howard who gave it to her.
Now, according to The Daily Mail, Terrence Howard's ex is currently under investigation from the Los Angeles Police Department, as it appears Ghent is sending her former husband and his current wife Miranda (also known as Mira Pak) online death threats.
Madame Noire found that the LAPD got a judge's warrant that allowed the police to determine whether Terrence Howard's ex was the one making threats on Miranda's Instagram account, as someone has been popping out in her social media page to make uncomfortable and dangerous comments.
If this is really the work of Terrence Howard's ex, it would throw even more complication into an already very complex situation, after court orders and restraining orders have occurred.
Howard himself has also received threatening posts over the past few months, and due to his convulsed history with his ex, it seems he had his reasons for thinking she was the one behind the whole thing, which included creepy messages saying that they wouldn't "live to see [their] children" and that Howard was cheating.
According to TMZ, the site contacted Terrence Howard's ex and she stated that she had talked to LAPD and they had cleared her of all charges; meanwhile, the police have only stated that it's an ongoing investigation.
