While nominees eagerly await for their turn only a few days shy of the Oscars 2015 ceremony that will award the best films from 2014, another important part of the night has been revealed, to the delight of everyone present in the most famous award show of the season: Wolfgang Puck's Oscar menu!
The Austrian-born celebrity chef has already been a part of a great number of ceremonies, as he's the official caterer for the Academy Awards Governors Ball, which doesn't make it any less exciting for others to see what Wolfgang Puck's Oscar menu has to offer each year!
According to The Daily Meal, while Wolfgang Puck's Oscar menu isn't the most awaited part of the Academy Awards, it's certainly a taste for sore stomachs after a long run in the award shows that culminates that very night - and after 21 straight years catering for the event, Puck can't disappoint!
Right after the last award is given next Sunday February 22 (traditionally, the last one is the one for Best Picture), the presenters, winners and nominees will head over to the Ray Dolby Ballroom at the Hollywood & Highland Center for the biggest party of the night, namely the Governors Ball.
L.A. Mag reports that this year's Wolfgang Puck Oscar menu will be including delicious options such as lobster salad, chicken pot pie with black truffles, baked potatoes with caviar, a vegan truffle risotto ... and about a dozen different desserts! As is always the case with Wolfgang Puck's Oscar menu, there will also be a number of little Academy Award-themed desserts, in the shape of the most important statuette in the film industry - a sweet-tasting consolation prize for those who didn't take home the award!
We Are Movie Geeks reports that some of the items in this year's Wolfgang Puck Oscar menu will include re-imaginings of classic dishes, such as a lobster BLT and beet latkes with pastrami duck and apple mustard - definitely a delicious banquet not to be forgotten by attendants!
