Red Meat
If you crave for red meat, the reason for this is mostly associated with iron deficiency. You can get away with this by eating iron-rich foods such as Vitamin C for iron absorption, legumes, beans, figs+ other dried fruit, unsulphured prunes, spinach, cherries and seaweed.
Cheese
Are you craving for cheese? This indicates deficiency of calcium and essential fatty acids. Fulfill craving for cheese by consuming omega 3â²s (EPA and DHA) food sources- Flax oil, chia seeds, ground flaxseeds, walnuts, Sesame seeds/ tahini, broccoli, legumes, mustard and turnip greens and kale.
Pasta, pastries and white bread
