John Travolta Oscars: After 2014 Adele Dazeem/Idina Menzel Disaster, ‘Pulp Fiction’ Actor Returns To Oscars!

Last year, which was the last time the world saw John Travolta's Oscars presentation, the "Pulp Fiction" actor created a meme when he was introducing Idina Menzel's performance of the "Frozen" megahit song "Let it Go," by calling the actress and singer "Adele Dazeem" during the live broadcast - and one year later, he'll be presenting again!

It's a good thing that the "Grease" actor is so beloved by everyone in Hollywood, because otherwise John Travolta's Oscars presentation probably wouldn't be happening, even though the Broadway actress and singer (who most recently performed the US anthem in the Super Bowl XLIX) has stated that it was actually great publicity for her, as fans came out to her defense when Travolta said her name wrong.

According to The Guardian, John Travolta's Oscars presentation job was just announced earlier this week, alongside other stars like Jennifer Aniston (reportedly snubbed of a nomination over her role in "Cake"), Sienna Miller, David Oyelowo (who apparently didn't get nominated for "Selma" because the studio failed to send screeners to Academy members in time) and the "Scandal" actress Kerry Washington.

Los Angeles Times calls the new John Travolta Oscars presentation gig a shot at "redemption" for the actor after last year's faux pas. After getting off the stage at the time and following the name that later became a meme, the actor spoke to the press about the whole thing, saying how embarrassed the whole thing had made him.

"I've been beating myself up all day," Travolta said later on, according to ANC News. "Then I thought ... 'What would Idina Menzel say?'" She'd say, 'Let it go, let it go!' Idina is incredibly talented and I am so happy 'Frozen' took home two Oscars Sunday night!"

Travolta has been mostly out of the spotlight in the last couple of years, though his IMDb page lists him as being in the pre-production phase of a new series, "American Crime Story," where he'll be co-starring alongside Cuba Gooding, Jr., Sarah Paulson and David Schwimmer.

Will John Travolta's Oscars appearance feature the nominated actor making a joke about last year's mishap?
