Jennifer Lawrence Movies: J Law And Chris Pratt On Sci Fi Romance ‘Passengers’?

As she's taken the world by storm in the past few years after making it big in Hollywood with Jennifer Lawrence movies like "X-Men: First Class" and "The Hunger Games," perhaps now she'll be taking on yet another role in science fiction, as rumor has it the Oscar-winning actress will be co-starring in a new film with Chris Pratt.

They're two of the hottest actors right now, and it'd be really great to see among the list of Jennifer Lawrence movies an appearance with the "Guardians of the Galaxy" star - considering they both even play Marvel heroes, though not in the same timeline, as "Guardians" and "Avengers" are owned by Disney while "X-Men" is owned by Fox.

According to io9, rumor has it that the newest addition to the list of Jennifer Lawrence movies might be "Passengers," a film directed by Morton Tyldum, the man behind the 2014 Oscar-nominated hit movie "The Imitation Game," which will pretty much be a science fiction romantic drama.

Variety was the outlet to break the rumor, as they stated that the actress and Pratt were in talks to star in the film, which would be the latest of Jennifer Lawrence's movies, which include the films "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2" and "X-Men: Apocalypse," both of which are currently in different stages of production right now.

The Verge reports that the screenplay was written by Jon Spaihts, the man behind the writing of the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe film "Doctor Strange" set to star Academy Award-nominated actor Benedict Cumberbatch.

The movie's about a spaceship that's going to a new planet, and all its passengers have been left in a state of cryogenic sleep, except for Lawrence and Pratt, who wake up at some point during the film.

Of course, the rumors don't mean anything, as "Passengers" has been about to get made for years - at some point, Reese Witherspoon, Rachel McAdams and Keanu Reeves had been considered for the top roles, so it is unclear whether this will be the latest of Jennifer Lawrence's movies.
