Magic Hobbit Ring Suspension: [PHOTO+VIDEO] 9-Year-Old Boy Suspended For Terrorist Threat After Watching The Hobbit: The Battle Of The Five Armies

Magic Hobbit ring, suspension of 9-year-old 4th grader from Kermit Elementary School came as a shock for the boy's father after learning that his son could not come to class on Friday for playing magic when he told his classmate that he could make him disappear with his magic hobbit ring.

Jason Steward, the father of Aiden Steward told Odessa American News that the principal claimed that 'terrorist threat' such as what his son did would not be tolerated-whether the threat was magical or not. There has been no letter informing the parent of the Magic Hobbit Ring suspension of the boy.

Jason Steward stated that his family went to see the film "The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies" on weekend. His son, Aiden brought a ring similar to the one in the movie and playfully teased his classmate that he could make him vanish with the ring.

"Kids act out movies that they see. When I watched Superman as a kid, I went outside and tried to fly," Jason Steward said.

The father couldn't believe that the principal would really believe that his son's action could bring threat to someone. The Magic Hobbit Ring suspension of the boy came as a big issue as the father claimed that his son of course lacks the magical powers necessary to threaten his friend's existence, Raw Story reports.

Nothing was heard since Friday from Principal Roxanne Greer after the Magic Hobbit Ring suspension of the 4th grader. Greer told Odessa publication that all student stuff is confidential. After requesting the school for a written notice of suspension, Jason Steward was told to wait an email about the letter.

Superintendent Bill Boyd didn't return a call to Odessa American News and to Yahoo Parenting News to clear the issues.

The 9-year-old Aiden Steward started attending Kermit Elementary School in August, but the little boy has been suspended for three times already this school year.

Jason said that his son was suspended for calling a classmate "black" and for bringing his favorite book "The Big Book of Knowledge" where a section shows a pregnant woman photo that was taken all negatively by is teacher, according to New York Daily News.

Another suspension from school was reported earlier in April 2014 when two 4th graders sold their grandparent's pots in school in Colorado. Although it initially involved police investigations, Greeley elementary school has managed to issue suspensions to the minors.

Yahoo Parenting News state that Texas Education Code allows not more than three school mandatory leave and for this reason, Aiden must be back to Kermit Elementary School this week after the Magic Hobbit Ring suspension.
