‘Game Of Thrones’ IMAX Theaters: HBO Show Creators See Westeros On IMAX, Amazed! [VIDEO]

Ever since news came out that the fifth season of the famous epic show would be showing on theaters at the time of the episodes' release, fans anticipated the new season even further - now, as "Game of Thrones" on IMAX theaters approaches, the creators of the series have seen it for the first time in theaters, and are absolutely in love with the results.

The production values behind the show about power, dragons and terrible family relations are some of the highest in current television, in an era that many consider the golden age of TV and where the truly daring things are happening, instead of in film; starting this April, after "Game of Thrones" IMAX theaters release, it'll be even tougher to set the line between the two mediums.

According to Design & Trend, fans aren't the only ones excited about the "Game of Thrones" IMAX theaters experience: even the show's creators can't wait to watch all the new episodes on the big screen!

Last week, David Benioff and D.B. Weiss, the two men behind the small screen adaptation of the epic book saga by George R. R. Martin, watched two episodes of their show on IMAX, particularly the last two episodes of the last season: "The Watchers on the Wall" and "The Children," both of which were released last June.

"The communal experience of being surrounded by other people who are gasping at the same moments is the way it's really meant to be seen," said Benioff after watching "Game of Thrones" on IMAX theater. " It's just a new whole way of seeing and experiencing."

According to UpRoxx, that's really great news for several reasons - not least of which is the fact that the tickets for the IMAX screenings are selling "like hot cakes."

As Fool reports, the first screenings of previous episodes of the show will be airing on "Game of Thrones" IMAX theaters starting this Friday - and fans can't wait to see them!
