Tips For Making Perfect Hard-Boiled Eggs

1. Prepare the eggs. It's better to use more than 1-week-old eggs to peel the shells easily)
2. Place eggs in a saucepan (They should be in single layer).
3. Pour cold water in a saucepan at least one inch above the egg shells.
4. Cover the pan with lid. Bring to a boil over medium heat (Do not boil over high heat).
5. When water comes to boil, remove from heat and let stand.
*Soft-cooked eggs: let stand in hot water 1-4 minutes.
*Hard-cooked eggs: let stand in hot water 15-17 minutes.
6. Drain hot water. Add cold water immediately at least one inch above the shells.
*Soft-cooked eggs: let stand in cold water until cool enough to handle.
*Hard-cooked eggs: let stand in cold water until completely cooled.
