PC fans of the widely acclaimed video game "Grand Theft Auto V" will have to wait a little bit more after Rockstar Games, the games publisher, decided to push back its PC release to March 24. The game was previously reported to be released on PC this Jan 27, unfortunately due to undisclosed setbacks the developers are experiencing, the release of the game will have to be rescheduled.
Rockstar has already issued an apology to millions of its fans after breaking the news earlier today. Rockstar posted a message on its website saying "Our apologies for the slight shift in the date but the game requires a few extra weeks of testing and polish to make it as good as can be. Moving a release date is never a decision we take lightly and is a choice we make only when we know it is in the best interests of the game and our fans. Thanks everyone for your understanding and we assure you these few extra weeks will be worth it when the game does arrive in March."
"Grand Theft Auto V" was release on console a little more than a year ago. PC gamers are no longer stranger when it comes to delays especially with regards to games initially released on console. However, this delay might mean that Rockstar is devoted in releasing only the finest games in the market, free from bugs, compared to other video game developer's mentality of "ship now, patch later".
Aside from informing the public of the delay of its PC release, Rockstar has also announced the PC specifications required in order to properly run the game. The recommended specs include;
Operating System: Windows 8.1 (64 Bit), Windows 8 (64 Bit), Windows 7 (64 Bit SP1)
