As many people around the world were glued to their screens watching the Golden Globes last Sunday, fans of the HBO show created and co-written by Lena Dunham became shocked as the series saw one of its raciest sex scenes, prominently featuring Allison Williams' "Girls" derriere.
It's an everyday occurrence for "Girls" fans to see Lena Dunham topless or showing off her bum, but it's rare that cast mates Jemima Kirke, Zosia Mamet and Allison Williams from "Girls" show off their figures as well; however, the latest scene featuring Williams was so shocking that people turned to ask her famous news anchor father if he felt at all comfortable with it.
According to The Huffington Post, Brian Williams, Allison's father and the longtime anchor and managing editor of "NBC Nightly News" was recently asked what he thought of Allison Williams' "Girls" sex scene in the premiere of the show's fourth season, which showed his daughter very explicitly getting played with by guest star Ebon Moss-Bachrach.
As it turns out, it seems that father Brian Williams was perfectly all right with his daughter's very explicit sex scene on the HBO show, as he reminded everyone that Allison Williams' "Girls" tenure was, after all, just television, and there was nothing that should be taken terribly seriously about the whole thing. A very supportive dad!
Not too long ago, Allison spoke out about her upcoming scene, which had already been reported by different media outlets, as it was going to be something of a shocker in the premiere of the new "Girls" season.
"Because of my wiring, I read it in the script and I went into total action mode," she told Vulture Magazine. "I grabbed the makeup girl and said, "I want to smell like a cake," so we put vanilla cream everywhere so everything smells good. And then I'm like, 'Grace, we're going to rig something invisible from the side but that feels like a pillow when he puts his face into it.' And, that's what we did! You wouldn't know; it's total TV magic."
To Entertainment Weekly, she even went on to explain about the Allison Williams "Girls" sex scene make-up, which she said was so elaborate that it involved from thongs to menstrual pads.
