A minivan dragged 16 miles at the midst of snowstorm in Interstate 75 early Wednesday made a family fear for their life. The minivan dragged 16 miles contains a family including mother, father and their two kids and were travelling northbound.

Pamela and Matthew Menz together with their children, Justin and Jennifer rear-ended a semi-truck and they said that the truck driver had no idea that they're being dragged. Their 2001 Toyota Sienna, the minivan dragged 16 miles was traveling 2 miles an hour as claimed by Matthew Menz, also a truck driver.

Feeling terrified what could happen to them, Pamela Menz called 911 and reported that the front end of their vehicle was trapped at the tail end of a semi-truck while they were being dragged along interstate 75. They also stated that there was no power and heat and the driver had no idea what was happening, Gawker reported.

The power was shut-off and the heater was also cut-off in the minivan dragged 16 miles. There was also no horn and their windshield was completely damaged. Their situation made for the family to report where exactly there were, Roscommon County Undersheriff Ed Stern reported. s

The minivan dragged 16 miles was located by police authorities 23 minutes after they reached 911. The semi-truck was finally stopped at 16 miles. The 911 dispatchers located the minivan dragged 16 miles through GPS.

After the minivan dragged 16 miles was located, the family was found safe and only suffered minor injuries. NBC News reported that they were able to locate the truck and the minivan on Interstate 75 in Grayling in Northern, Michigan.
