Luxury Car Cadillac And Lincoln Shares Their Plan For The Future

Two of United States' biggest luxury car companies are gearing up and has neat visions and plans for their respective future. Cadillac and Lincoln at the start of 2015 has seen some very major changes within them, both have new chief officers and based on their recent official statements both are looking up for new strategies and are expected to release new products in order to redeem their former celebrated glory.

Johan de Nyssschen, Cadillac's newest chief has already declared his big plans for the company including relocating its headquarters to New York, he also said that he plans to run the company as a separate division financially and lastly, he plans to invest $3 billion on various vehicles as well as powertrains in order to reach a worldwide sale of 500,000 units by the end of the decade.

On the other hand, Lincoln's newest chief, Kumar Halhotra, surprised everyone by declaring that the company will be releasing two new cars which will be added to the four cars that will be release by the company in this year along. Reports also indicates that Lincoln is planning to release a total of $2.5 billion within the span of the next five years in order to finance its research and development, the company also plans of raising their sales output by 300,000 before 2020. Galhotra also emphasized the company's growing interest in the Chinese market which it entered not more than a year ago, however no addition information was provided regarding its plans towards the market in China.

Both the companies are already finishing up their plans for the upcoming Detroit Auto Show. According to reports, Lincoln will be unveiling a new MKX midsize crossover, a full sized sedan that will probably replace the MKS car series and shows a great potential to be the flag bearer of the company in the sedan market.

Cadillac is set to launch its ATS-V coupe in the Detroit Auto Show as well; according to official reports is it by far the most powerful Cadillac to be ever released with a whopping 640 horsepower.
