There's no doubt that Chris Pratt and Anna Faris are one of the most beloved couples in Hollywood, particularly when it comes to comedy, as the duo has been a part of some of the most successful funny stuff in the last decade - so, why wasn't Pratt there to support his wife's hosting gig?
A lot has been said regarding why, besides a hilarious video of Chris Pratt and Anna Faris discussing her hosting gig on the People's Choice Awards, the "Guardians of the Galaxy" actor failed to show up in the ceremony - but it seems he had much more important stuff to do at the time.
According to The Daily Mail, one of the world's favorite parts of last Wednesday's People's Choice Awards was were hostess Anna Faris and Chris Pratt, her husband of five years and one of the new it guys in Hollywood. In the skit, she tells him to help her out with the awards, and he says that, although he loves her, he poked fun at his busy schedule saying he had "eleven movies to shoot by next Friday."
However, that's not really the reason why Chris Pratt and Anna Faris didn't walk together in the red carpet of the event that saw the "Mom" star as hostess; according to People Magazine, the "Parks and Recreation" actor had to stay home with two year-old son Jack, due to the fact that the toddler just had eye surgery and the couple decided it'd be Pratt's turn to take care of him, due to Faris' previos commitment co-hosting with Allison Janney.
"Our sweet son, on a more serious note," said Faris to Entertainment Tonight before the show, "is having eye surgery so he may be at home with him, but I'd love to see him."
So, in any case, it's great to see that Chris Pratt and Anna Faris are actually a team, willing to support each other for their family when they need to!
