Dustin Diamond, arrested on Christmas was charged of second-degree recklessly endangering safety, carrying a concealed weapon and disorderly conduct. The actor famous for his role as Screech Powers in the TV sitcom "Saved by the Bell" was arrested for stabbing a man in a bar in Wisconsin.

NBC News reported that Dustin Diamond had argument with a man in the bar at the Grand Avenue Saloon in Port Washington at around 11:15 p.m. Dustin Diamond, arrested with his fiancée Amanda Schultz after authorities found a folding knife at his car with stained blood on it.

Dustin Diamond came to the bar with his fiancée to spend some time relaxing but apparently, some men including the man who was stabbed were rude and insulted the two.

The altercation led to a more serious problem when the victim suffered stabbed wound under his armpit. Diamond told authorities that he did not intentionally stabbed the victim.

Authorities responded to the scene after they received a report that a man stabbed a male customer in the bar and the suspect escaped. Dustin Diamond, arrested for the charges was found possessing a 3.75-inch blade stiletto folding knife, according to ABC News.

Dustin Diamond, arrested following testimonies of the witnesses that it was Diamond who stabbed the victim. Diamond told police officers that he protected his fiancée after the heated argument in the bar.

Other people in the bar said that the altercation escalated to something serious when Diamond's fiancée freak out for being photographed.

Diamond, lives in Port Washington, Wisconsin, north of Milwaukee, was apprehended on $1,000 bond before hearing on Friday.

After Dustin Diamond, arrested for stabbing incident, the actor told police officers that "there was a group of intoxicated people being rude and insulting." Diamond added he didn't deliberately stab the man but chaos broke.

Police investigating Diamond also reported that Diamond kept on changing his statement that he was holding a pen or a knife during the argument in the bar.

Dustin Diamond, was apprehended for stabbing and if he would be proven guilty for the offense, he could end up in jail up t ten years. Diamond's fiancée faces disorderly conduct.

The man stabbed by Diamond suffered a non-life threatening wound and is now recuperating at his home.  

Dustin Diamond is a standup comedian, musician, director and actor known for his role as Samuel "Screech "Powers in the TV series "Saved by the Bell."  He starred in cameo roles in "Made" in 2001 and "Dickie Roberts: Former Child Star" in 2003.

He is also known for playing in reality TV shows including "The weakest link" and "Celebrity Boxing 2."

Dustin Diamond, arrested will face his second hearing on Monday.
