Jill Duggar Spends Christmas With Husband's Family, Duggars Release Annual Christmas Family Card

The Duggars from the show "19 Kids And Counting" has released their annual Christmas Family Card and this year it's a homemade "Happy Birthday Jesus" banner. They reportedly do not have a Christmas tree but they still enjoyed the holidays.

The family has been interviewed by People magazine and they showed their fans what it looks like in their home come Christmas time. The eldest child, 26-year-old Josh, has shown the magazine their home and noted that everyone was preparing for the celebration of Jesus Christ's birthday.

Explaining about the no-Christmas tree, Michelle Duggar, Jim Bob Duggar's wife, said in a statement: "The true spirit and true meaning of Christmas is really what our lord and savior Jesus Christ has done for us. People say why don't the Duggars have a big massive Christmas tree? Well we celebrate Jesus' birthday. So we have a big Happy Birthday Jesus banner and we really try to focus on the real meaning of Christmas."

The mother-of-19 explains, "I think the fun part about it is that we make precious memories together as a family and just getting to sit down with all of us in the living room and have Dad read the story of the first Christmas, the Scriptures and Luke and getting to sing Happy Birthday Jesus and having a special celebration, we look forward to it the whole month of December." However, Josh revealed that back then there was a big Christmas tree when he was younger.

As for Jill Duggar-Dillard, she has spent Christmas eve with her husband Derick Dillard and her baby bump was once again the center of attraction. She posted a photo of her alongside the Dillard fam bam and captioned it with the following words: "Great time with the Dillard relatives on Christmas Eve! #dillardfam #christmaseve #familytime."

Jill and Derick are expecting their first child on March 2015.
