Stevie Wonder Songs: Grammy Tribute To Soul Legend On February!

After the very successful 2014 "The Night That Changed America: A Grammy Salute to The Beatles" for the 50th anniversary of The Beatles' first American performance in 1964, a new tribute will be airing for yet another legend, honoring Stevie Wonder's songs.

For a person as iconic as Stevie Wonder, tributes come just about every day, but it's still a huge step for the music industry to honor him officially: now, on February 2014, the concert "Stevie Wonder: Songs in the Key of Life - An All-Star Grammy Salute" will see some of the world's most famous musicians paying their respects to the "I Just Called to Say I Love You" star.

According to Rolling Stone Magazine, Stevie Wonder's songs will be honored in a two-hour show, set to air on CBS on Monday, February 16, in a schedule from 9 to 11 p.m. Eastern Time.

While it is still unclear which bands and artists will be playing Stevie Wonder's songs on the tribute, the Recording Academy has billed the event as "some of the biggest names in music today" - no surprise there, considering the Beatles salute featured some of the most talented men and women in the industry, raging from Alicia Keys and John Legend to Coldplay, Katy Perry, Foo Fighters' Dave Grohl - and even Stevie Wonder himself, playing the Fab Four hit "We Can Work It Out."

According to Daily Star, the event honoring Stevie Wonder's songs will be recorded on February 10 at the Los Angeles Nokia Theater, two days after the Grammy Awards.

"His music is as poignant as it is appealing and his songs have the ability to illustrate our world in every note," said Jack Sussman, who is an executive vice president at CBS Entertainment, in a statement last Monday.

The legendary Motown singer has had a wildly popular career over the course of decades - currently, he's finishing up a tour performing the entire classic 1976 album "Key of Life" in its entirety, according to Freep.com.
