Jordin Sparks Sings About Jason Derulo In Latest Song, Explains Why

Jordin Sparks recently released a sample of her new song and she has slammed her ex Jason Derulo but she explained that it was not part of her revenge against the former love of her life.

The "American Idol" winner said in a statement: "I knew it was going to get crazy. I was nervous to put it out there because no one had ever heard me like this before." She talked about it when she was promoting Microsoft Lumia's "Make It Happen".

The track was entitled "How Bout Now" and it was basically about Sparks and Derulo's past. The 24-year-old reveals in the song with the following lyrics of the song:  "Feeling like I have to get all of this off my chest./ I know you are sitting there thinking 'What is she going to do next?'/ Remember I deleted all my other guys' numbers out my phone for ya?/ Remember when you broke your neck and I had to wash your back for ya?/ You probably don't remember half of the s--t that I did for ya."

The song also says that Drake f-ked with her when they were still together adding, "but how about now?/ 'Cause I'm up right now and you suck right now."

The track is said to be featured in her upcoming album called "Right Here, Right Now". She says that every day, it was different and something new she came up with when she wrote and recorded the songs.

In reference to the diss track about Drake, she explains, "And that day I was having one of those days where I was like, 'I'm just going to do it and I want my fans to hear this side of me. They need to hear it.'...My fans wanted to hear something but at the same time it wasn't really planned and I just went into the studio and whatever came out, came out."

Derulo has never reacted to the track released by his ex and Sparks admits that she has already moved on pointing out that she is in the best place she has been in. She is not dating anyone yet and noted that she has so many things to do and has no time for distractions as of the moment.
