Melissa Rivers Speaks Out After Mother's Death: Breaking Her Silence

When Joan Rivers was eight years of age, she took a photo of herself that sat at her parent's piano, sealed the photo in the envelope, and send the photo off to MGM, hoping that her it would lead her to her career in Hollywood.

Melissa Rivers has explained on the stage on Wednesday that in her mind, that little girl was a star and she has sent the photo in a frame and all. She also added that her grandma wasn't pleased because the frame costs $50.

MGM did not responded, yet Joan is lucky and got her Hollywood career, which is a legendary and a long one. The anecdote is one of the numerous insightful and touching sentiments that Melissa has shared in the nearly 7-minute speech inside the Milk Studios in Los Angeles where the only child of Joan was publicly speaking for the first in following the tragic death of her mother on the 4th of September in New York City, which follows a routine surgery at the Yorkville Endoscopy.

Mellissa has also mentioned that her mother was fearless and she don't mean she did not have any fears. Even if is not as tall as other, she stood tall and has walked through them.
