The trailer for "Pitch Perfect 2" was released recently for the audience to acquire a glimpse of what they should expect and what the sequel could offer to them. The trailer was right on time and definitely a great treat for everyone who liked the first installment of the movie.

After the success of its first movie, "Pitch Perfect" became a huge hit also when it comes to its soundtrack. The movie has grossed over a hundred million dollars while its soundtrack has reached the top 100 of Billboard charts. This time, the Bardon Bellas, which include Rebel Wilson, Anna Kendrick, Anna Camp, Brittany Snow, Alexis Knapp, and Hana Mae Lee together with some of their rival, Treblemakers, which include Adam Devine and Skylar Astin, are set to bring the box office hit like before. The newcomers are Hailee Steinfeld and Katey Sagal.

Kay Cannon will still be part of the production team who will be responsible for writing the script for the upcoming sequel. She also wrote the script for the very first movie and Elizabeth Banks, the former producer, will join her. Banks won't be producing in this latest movie. But rather, she will be the one directing it and this would be her very first feature movie as the director.

In an interview, Banks revealed several plot details regarding the forthcoming "Pitch Perfect 2", which include the film's overarching theme. Even if the director has refused to divulge some insight into Beca's fate and relationship of Jesse, she said that the film will follow Fat Amy, Beca, and other members of the Barden Bellas in their senior year as they will pass the acapella torch.

Fans should not miss to watch the movie next year. It will be released on May 15, 2015. With its newly released trailer, expect more to this upcoming installment.
