ISIS WIFE ARRESTED: Wife And Son Of Islamist Terror Group Leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi Seized In Syrian Border

Saja al-Dulaimi, the alleged ISIS wife arrested by the Lebanese Army Intelligence was speculated to be one of the two wives of Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, the leader of the Islamic terror group.

The woman captured was apparently a powerful figure in ISIS. An intelligence informant revealed that there were only limited information gathered during her captivity, but her arrest was considered an excellent timing to get pertinent information about the ISIS leader.

The ISIS wife arrested was with her 4-year-old son when she was captured while trying to enter Lebanon near the northeastern Lebanese town of Arsal 10 days ago. The identity of the son was confirmed after a DNA test was done.

The U.S. Intelligence and other states hold a sample of al-Baghdadi's DNA during his custody for nine months with the U.S. authorities in Iraq in 2004.

The wife and son of al-Baghdadi were both detained more than a week ago in an undisclosed location after they were examined at the Lebanese defense ministry headquarters in Yarze.

The captivity of the wife of the ISIS leader was part of the planned action by the U.S. intelligence in coordination with the agencies in Iraq, Syria and Lebanon.

Some speculated that the ISIS wife arrested was not the present wife of Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi. Analysts in Iraq believed that the arrest is not considered useful due to the fact that the new Islamic caliphate operates by assigning men as powerful leaders and women are not part of it.

The ISIS wife arrested more than a week ago was one of the 150 women freed in Syria in exchange of the captured 13 Syrian nuns in March, according to CNN. The Syrian nuns were held in captivity by the al Qaeda-linked al-Nusra Front, also an Islamic caliphate.

CNN reported that the ISIS wife arrested is one of al-Baghdadi's two wives while The Guardian claimed that she is one of the three wives of al-Baghdadi, where two are Iraqi and the other one a Syrian.

New information released by Al-Safir, a Lebanese news magazine that the ISIS wife arrested and her son were detained at Lebanon's military headquarters located in hills overlooking Beirut.

At present al-Baghdadi was believed to be transferring locations across Iraq Northwestern part. A massive $10 million is put in his head as bounty for his captivity.
