Charles Manson Marriage Causing Outrage Already: ‘Should We Allow Someone Like Charles Manson The Privilege Of Getting Married? Absolutely Not’

Charles Manson Marriage - Charles Manson has a life sentence and once he gets married, he won't be allowed to have any privileges. Still, the question in most people's mind is: how can he get married?

His future wife's name, or present wife like she already identifies herself as, is Afton Burton and she is a 26 year-old young woman. She was first introduced to the media by CNN on Nov. 18, when it was announced they would get married.

Apparently, she discovered him at the age of 16. Then, when she was 19, she moved to Corcoran, a small city in California where Corcoran State Prison is located and Charles Manson has been imprisoned for the last 25 years.

Since then, they talk on the phone every day and she visits him on the weekends.

"We talk about anything and everything, you know, like what's going on today - who's doing what. I try to help him file papers and stuff like that," his future wife said.

Still, to most people this fact doesn't sit at all. Actually, The Mirror stated practically that she's "throwing her life away." In early December, the infamous couple will get married.

In addition, the ceremony will happen in an inmate visitor room and all they'll be allowed to will be a quick kiss. Charles Manson will never get parole or conjugal visits, so no physical intimacy will ever happen between the future married couple.

Furthermore, weddings happening in prison set rigorous standards as to how the bride should dress and what she can carry with her.

"Costume jewelry will set off the alarm, as well as, clothes with metal beads and high heel shoes with nails. You can still be beautiful without the glitter and exposed skin," said Rev. Starlene Joyner Burns and the Irish Examiner noted.

The one comment on the matter that called the attention more than the rest was Debra Tate's, Sharon Tate's sister.

"Should we allow someone like Charles Manson the privilege of getting married? Absolutely not," she shared as part of an op-ed for Time.

Still, none of this will matter to Burton as the one prevalent detail about her marriage to Charles Manson and himself as a person is the fact that she remains loyal through time, critical comments and inability to comprehend.
