When it comes to TV, it's the funnymen that bring home the gold. Forbes magazine recently announced its annual list of the small screens' highest paid actors and it's dominated by big time comedy stars.
Leading the way is The Big Bang Theory's Jim Parsons. The four time primetime Emmy winner took home an astounding $29 million from June 2014 to June 2015. His co-star Johnny Galecki isn't far behind. His haul of $27 million puts him in second place.
Big Bang's other two leads didn't do too badly either. Both Simon Helberg and Kunal Nayyar finished in a four-way tie for third with NCIS' Mark Harmon, the sole dramatic actor in the top 5, and Two and a Half Men star Ashton Kutcher. The foursome brought home $20 million apiece for their work in 2015.
Comedians continue to dominate the charts as Kutcher's co-star Jon Cryer and TV veteran Ray Romano continue the trend with a take of $15 million each.
Rounding out the Top 10 we have Grey's Anatomy's Patrick Dempsey and The Mentalist's Simon Baker at $12 million.
Just outside the Top 10 we have more Comedy stars on deck with Modern Family's Ty Burrell ($11.5 million), Jesse Tyler Ferguson ($11 million), Eric Stonestreet ($10.5 million), and Ed O'Neill ($10.5 million).
The final spot on Forbes list goes to Kevin Spacey. The star of Netflix's House of Cards brought in $9.5 million for his portrayal of US President Frank Underwood.
